Changjiang Navigation Bureau conducts cybersecurity inspections in Yi

On the afternoon of September 11, a team from the Changjiang River Navigation Administration, including Director Liu Junke from the Surveying and Mapping Information Office, Engineer Wu Quan from the Measurement Center, and the inspection team from the Transportation Information Security Center, conducted an inspection of the network security information system at the Yichang Changjiang River Navigation Administration.
This cybersecurity inspection used methods such as on-site investigation, inquiries, vulnerability scanning, weak password cracking, and website attack testing to thoroughly inspect six aspects of the Yichang Changjiang River Navigation Administration: the physical environment of the computer room, network architecture, security equipment configuration, host security configuration, database security, and security management system.
On the morning of September 12, after the completion of the inspection, the inspection team categorized and organized the problems found and issued a detailed inspection report. Director Gong Yong and Deputy Director Dong Zhengfa of the Yichang Navigation Administration listened to the report. Gong Yong gave instructions on the problems found in this cybersecurity inspection and the next steps in network security rectification, requiring the completion of problem rectification before National Day to ensure network security during the National Day and the Military Games. Dong Zhengfa requested that, based on the completion of network security rectification, lessons be learned, and that grassroots network security inspections and publicity be strengthened to create a good network security atmosphere. Future network security work should improve relevant systems and combine network security management with the digital waterway special project.
Liu Jun emphasized that network security inspections will be conducted annually as a regular task. In future network security inspections, units found to have problems such as untimely system vulnerability rectification, weak passwords, or unreasonable account permissions will be publicly criticized by the Changjiang River Navigation Administration. Network security is an ongoing process, and it is hoped that the Yichang Navigation Administration will continuously improve its network security work through this inspection and rectification to ensure the smooth progress of digital waterway and informatization work.
